Springer to co-publish the Journal of Flow Chemistry

As of January 2018, Springer and Akadémiai Kiadó will co-publish the official journal of the Flow Chemistry Society

Hungary’s oldest publishing house Akadémiai Kiadó and Springer will add a further journal to their long-established co-publishing programme. The Journal of Flow Chemistry serves as a high-level academic forum for rapid publication of the latest results in flow chemistry. It was originally founded by the Flow Chemistry Society in 2011. 

Akadémiai Kiadó was founded in 1828 and is a leading STM publisher in Hungary. The co-publishing cooperation between Springer and Akadémiai Kiadó has a tradition of many decades and there are currently ten journals included in this partnership. The Journal of Flow Chemistry will now become an invaluable addition to this diverse portfolio which spans the physical sciences, humanities and mathematics.

The Journal of Flow Chemistry is headed by editor-in-chief C. Oliver Kappe, professor at the University of Graz in Austria. He is supported by international expert associate editors, as well as an editorial board, and advisory board members. The journal will publish four issues per year and is available online and in print.

Oliver Kappe. “This will increase visibility and accessibility of the journal and its content to a wider audience, and therefore will attract more authors to publish with us.”
