Discover Animals - Meet the Section Editor for Discover Animals

Animals have shaped the existence of dynamic fossilized and living ecosystems, benefiting the progress of science. They have paved the way for scientific discoveries in biology and human medicine, as well as modern technologies supporting human health and well-being. Animals continue to play a vital role in societies through coexistence with humans as pets, broad use in agriculture, and preservation of wildlife species that represent cultural and natural heritage for many nations. Animals are a significant part of our societies and will continue to benefit humans through food and natural resources, contributing to solving key global challenges such as food security, climate change, and advancements in human health. 'Discover Animals' is an international, inclusive journal that provides opportunities for educators, researchers, and scientists across various animal science disciplines to rapidly disseminate their research findings related to key discoveries in animal science. Our goal is to showcase authorship from diverse research backgrounds and countries, particularly encouraging submissions from early to mid-career researchers, women, and diverse research groups, as well as high-profile animal science researchers. Through this, 'Discover Animals' aims to be the platform for showcasing emerging and captivating discoveries in Animal Science from around the world.
