Aims and scope

The journal is a comprehensive peer-reviewed publication dedicated to advancing the field of radiology and its applications in medical diagnosis, imaging techniques, and interventional procedures. The journal serves as an international platform for researchers, practitioners, and academicians to share their research findings, clinical experiences, and innovations in the rapidly evolving field of radiology. It aims to foster interdisciplinary collaborations, disseminate knowledge, and contribute to the progress of healthcare and improvement of patient care worldwide. The journal welcomes all articles presenting solid data, strong methods, and high ethical standards irrespective of perceived significance to provide a rich resource and broad overview for practitioners in the field. With fast and rigorous peer review the journal ensures high standards and quality.

The scope of the journal encompasses a wide array of topics within radiology, diagnostic imaging, and interventional radiology, including but not limited to the following areas: Radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, Hybrid Imaging (such as PET-CT, PET-MRI, and SPECT-CT), and their clinical utility. Within artificial intelligence and machine learning image processing and reconstruction are of interest.
Furthermore the scope spans topics related to the field of interventional radiology, promoting minimally invasive, image-guided therapeutic procedures, including: vascular and endovascular interventions, interventional oncology, neurointervention, interventional musculoskeletal radiology, gastrointestinal and genitourinary interventions, percutaneous interventions in pediatrics, interventional radiology in women's health, uterine fibroid embolization, uterine artery embolization, breast interventions, new devices, navigation systems, and robotics in interventional radiology.
