Partial Differential Equations and Applications - PDEA Editors Apala Majumdar and Mouhamed Moustapha Fall win prestigious awards
We are proud to share the news that two of our Editorial Board members have recently received prestigious awards:
Apala Majumdar (University of Strathclyde) has been selected to receive a Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award (this opens in a new tab) by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. This award is conferred in recognition of the award winner’s entire academic record to date. In addition, award winners are invited to carry out research projects of their own choice in cooperation with specialist colleagues in Germany.
Mouhamed Moustapha Fall (AIMS Senegal) has been awarded the 2022 DST-ICTP-IMU Ramanujan Prize (this opens in a new tab) for Young Mathematicians from Developing Countries. Professor Fall received the Prize "for his outstanding work in the theory of Partial Differential Equations".
