Upcoming Special Issue: Outdoor Polymeric Insulators

Outdoor polymeric insulators play a major role in the power system network. It is very essential to design and develop compact, cost-effective and reliable outdoor insulation structures to withstand multi-stress conditions in outdoor environments, without compromising the performance of outdoor insulators.  In the recent past, research activities are focused towards the identification of suitable materials for the fabrication of outdoor insulation structures using new technologies. 

With the above views and to benefit the researchers, manufacturers, and utilities, We have  planned to bring out a special issue on outdoor insulators, in the International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics, Springer publishers  (No APC charges, regular two blind reviews ought to be carried out with all submitted manuscript) focussing on the following topics:

• Novel outdoor insulating materials with good pollution performance under AC and DC voltage applications.
• Screening methodology to identify suitable material for outdoor insulators. 
• Experience, modelling and simulation of actual service condition performance of outdoor insulating materials and insulators including aging and health index evaluation
• DC test methods for materials and insulators.

Deadlines:

• Submission Deadline: 1^st June 2023.

Acceptance of Full paper for publication: 30^th September 2023.
