International Journal of Wireless Information Networks - Call for Papers: New Paradigms in Intelligent Spectrum Management

Spectrum sharing is a complex multidisciplinary research area that involves 

BESTNEST 2020 Workshop included 8 panels on the following topics: (1) Quantum Computing and Communication; (2) Networking Science and Engineering for Spectrum Sharing; (3)  Economy and Business Development for Spectrum Sharing; (4) Hardware and RF for Spectrum Management; (5) Education and Workforce Development; (6) Edge and Cloud Network Architectures for Spectrum Sharing; (7) THz Technologies for Spectrum Sharing; (8) Machine Learning and Data Sciences for Spectrum Sharing. 

The proposed special issue aims at attracting contributions from workshop presenters that contributed to the BESTNEST 2020. These authors will be invited to submit a short letter size (4 pages) or long papers (6-8 pages) to the International Journal of Wireless Information Networks. A thorough review process will ensure that the end-results meets the quality standards of the Journal, while at the same time leading to a unique issue of excellent articles. 
 

Contributions
The guest editors will invite BESTNEST workshop presenters to submit to the Journal. These authors will be asked to provide contributions, which cover a broad array of topics of the above CFP.  All necessary provisions will be made to ensure that contributions represent major wireless networking research labs from around the globe. The procedures described in the following paragraph will ensure that the best and most representative contributions are ultimately selected for final publication in the special issue. 

Review Process / Quality Control of Contributions
A thorough review process will be employed to ensure comprehensive reviews of the papers and ultimate selection of the best and most representative contributions.

These reviewers’ have experience and deep knowledge on all fields of wireless communications engaged in this special issue. This network will serve as a review and editorial team for this particular issue. 

Each received paper will be subject to 2-3 independent reviews, as well as to one additional referee review from one of the guest editors. Moreover, the guest editors will ensure that the timeline set for the review process is strictly adhered to.

The guest editors will address any conventional or specialized requirement imposed by the editor-in chief and/or the publisher. The intention is to fully conform to the high quality standards of the journal.
