Working the ice

From advanced cold weather athletic clothing and uniforms, to advanced skates and skis, to snowboard and ski coatings to optimize performance, sports engineering research is changing winter sports. And all these advancements rest on research that starts in your labs.
On this page, you’ll find recent research highlights advancing the sports engineering of winter sports, free to read until 6 March. These highlights show the quality of research the community publishes with Springer as books, and in Springer’s journals.
When you’re ready to consider publishing your winter sports engineering work, you can learn more about the particular journals below, and more about publishing a book with Springer here.
