About this book series
The NYASP School Psychology Archives – a SpringerBriefs series published in affiliation with the New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP) – serves as a forum for evidence-based school psychology research and practice. Emphasizing contemporary and novel trends, the series focuses on translating research into the daily practice of school psychology. The series publishes a variety of research types, including literature and conceptual review papers; original empirical research; public policy position papers; and case studies. All submissions are peer reviewed by the Series Editors for substantive contribution to the school psychology literature and relevance for professionals working in schools. A variety of topics may be the focus of a Brief, including but not limited to assessment and intervention; counseling in schools; ethical issues; law and policy; race, gender, and social issues; intellectual and developmental disabilities; and school violence.
